Terms of service

Vantage Performance, PLLC — Terms of Use

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Vantage Performance website and the online tools linked from it. By using the site, you agree to them. If you disagree with any part, please stop using the site.

Effective date: October 15, 2026

These Terms cover the website. Clinical care from Vantage is also governed by the telehealth consent, patient financial and other forms you sign before your first visit, and those forms control for clinical care if they differ from these Terms. The Privacy Policy and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy describe how Vantage handles personal and health information and are part of these Terms.

2. About Vantage Performance

Vantage Performance, PLLC (“Vantage”) is a Washington professional limited liability company based in Seattle. In these Terms, “I” and “my” refer to Chris Pohl, ARNP, the licensed advanced registered nurse practitioner who owns Vantage and provides its clinical care.

Vantage provides clinical care by telehealth to adults in Washington, with a focus on endurance and mountain athletes: initial assessment, laboratory testing and interpretation, care coordination, and medication management when clinically indicated. The website describes these services and lets you book a discovery call, complete forms, and contact me. Vantage does not operate a physical clinic, and all visits take place by telehealth.

Vantage is not a primary care practice and does not replace a primary care clinician.

3. Website content is educational

Articles, posts, case examples and other content on the site are general education. They do not diagnose or treat any person, and they do not replace advice from a clinician who knows your history. Case examples are de-identified and may be simplified or combined. Medical knowledge changes, so content may be out of date.

Do not delay or skip care, or change a medication, because of something you read here. Content on the site is not a recommendation that you take any particular test, supplement or medication.

4. No clinician–patient relationship through the website; emergencies

Visiting the website, sending a message through a contact form, or booking a discovery call does not create a clinician–patient relationship. A relationship begins when I accept you as a patient, which happens after you complete intake, sign the required consent forms, and we have our first visit. The discovery call is a free conversation about whether Vantage fits your needs, and I do not give individual clinical advice on it.

Please keep health details out of website forms, standard email and text messages, and use the patient portal for anything clinical. Contact forms and standard email are not secure channels and are not monitored for urgent matters.

Vantage does not provide emergency or urgent care. If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. If you are in crisis or thinking about suicide, call or text 988.

5. Who can use the services

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Vantage currently accepts patients in Washington State only. You must be physically located in Washington during each visit.
  • Vantage is cash-pay and does not bill health insurance, including Medicare. Medicare beneficiaries who use Vantage’s services do so under a private contract, and Medicare does not pay for them.
  • You agree to give accurate and complete health information, and to tell me promptly if it changes.
  • I may decline, pause or end care, or refer you elsewhere, when telehealth is a poor fit (for example, symptoms or findings that need an in-person exam) or when your needs fall outside Vantage’s scope. Care follows my clinical judgment, and Vantage does not guarantee any result.

6. Scheduling, payment, cancellations, refunds

  • Pricing. Each service is priced on its own. The price shown when you book applies to that booking. Where a service description states that it includes a defined follow-up, the follow-up and its time window are stated at booking.
  • Payment. You pay by card at booking or at the time stated for the service, and you authorize Vantage to charge the card you provide for services you book.
  • Laboratory fees. Laboratory tests and draw fees are billed separately from Vantage’s services, at the amount stated to you before you confirm the order.
  • Cancellations. Please cancel or reschedule at least [24 hours] before a visit. A late cancellation or missed visit carries the fee shown at booking.
  • Refunds. If you paid for a service that Vantage did not deliver, I refund the unearned portion. Where one fee covers more than one visit, the portion allocated to each visit is stated at booking. A service delivered as described is not refundable. If you have a billing concern, please contact me first so we can resolve it before a card dispute.
  • Insurance and tax accounts. Whether a payment is reimbursable by an insurer, or eligible for HSA or FSA funds, depends on your plan and your own advisers.

7. Messaging, labs, care-team sharing

  • Messaging. Patients can message me through the patient portal about their current plan and results. I aim to reply within two business days. A new symptom, a new prescription or a dose change is handled in a visit. Messages are for non-urgent matters only.
  • Laboratory testing. Tests are ordered through third-party laboratories. You are responsible for completing the draw by the instructions given and for the draw conditions I specify. Laboratories are independent of Vantage, and Vantage is not responsible for their errors or delays.
  • Care-team coordination. I share information with your coach, dietitian, physical therapist, primary care clinician or other care-team members only with your written authorization. You choose what each person receives, from training-relevant guidance only to a full clinical summary, and you can revoke the authorization in the portal at any time.

8. Acceptable use, accounts, intellectual property

You agree to use the website lawfully and to leave it, and the patient portal, secure for everyone. That means you will not:

  • impersonate another person or give false information in a form or booking;
  • attempt to access accounts, records or systems that are not yours;
  • scrape, copy or reproduce site content by automated means, or interfere with how the site works;
  • upload malicious code or submit content that is unlawful, abusive or infringing.

Patient portal and scheduling accounts are provided through third-party platforms that have their own terms. Keep your login credentials private, and tell me promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

The website’s text, design, logo, name and other content belong to Vantage or its licensors. You may view and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use, including copying articles or case write-ups, requires my written permission. If you send feedback or suggestions, Vantage may use them without obligation to you.

9. Third-party links, disclaimers, limitation of liability

The site may link to third-party websites, and some features run on third-party platforms such as scheduling, payment, patient-portal and laboratory services. Vantage does not control those services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

To the extent the law allows, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, and Vantage does not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for professional negligence in the delivery of clinical care, or any other liability that Washington law does not permit to be limited.

10. Changes, termination, governing law, contact

Changes. Vantage may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Using the site after a change means you accept the revised Terms. A change does not alter consent forms you have already signed for clinical care.

Suspension. Vantage may suspend or end your access to the website or portal if you breach these Terms.

Governing law. Washington law governs these Terms, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Washington State.

General. If a part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms, together with the forms and policies referenced in Section 1, are the whole agreement about your use of the website.
